Trust Manager

A financial services organisation is seeking a driven professional with a strong background in trust administration and a passion for developing high-performing teams.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced leader to join a growing and dynamic team and play a key role in guiding trust operations and mentoring team members.

This is a hands-on role requiring strong leadership, technical expertise, and a deep understanding of trust structures.

You’ll be responsible for overseeing a portfolio of family trust arrangements while also ensuring the smooth and compliant operation of your team’s caseload.

Permanent, hybrid working model

Offices: Bristol or Southampton

The role:

  • Leading a team of trust professionals, offering strategic direction and day-to-day support
  • Managing a portfolio of complex trust matters with a focus on service excellence
  • Reviewing and enhancing internal processes to ensure optimal case handling
  • Delivering tailored training and guidance to both individuals and teams
  • Providing technical insight on trust matters to colleagues across the wider business
  • Taking a proactive role in compliance oversight and risk mitigation
  • Collaborating with senior stakeholders on technical initiatives and business projects
  • Contributing to a strong, performance-driven culture with a commitment to professional standards

Ideal Candidate:

  • At least 8 years of experience in trust case management
  • Law degree
  • Strong leadership and mentoring experience
  • Sound knowledge of regulatory frameworks and trust governance
  • Ability to communicate complex matters clearly and confidently
  • A collaborative mindset and willingness to engage across departments
