LAW Absolute is recruiting on behalf of a Local Authority based in London, for a mid-level planning lawyer locum. You will provide full support for planning functions, including advice to Planning Committee, acting on behalf of the council in enforcement matters and high-profile public inquiries.
To apply you will be:
- A qualified lawyer with prior UK local government experience Experienced handling a caseload of planning matters Able to attend the office on a hybrid working basis
Essential experience:
- Experience handling a caseload of planning matters such as planning agreements, environmental impact assessments, enforcement powers, highways Experience defending judicial proceedings challenging the grant of planning permission would be desirable
