Legal Practice Support Specialist

A fantastic new opportunity has arisen with a global US law firm in London for a Legal Support Specialist. The role is to support the firm’s Corporate Finance practice with the full life cycle of matters and ensure smooth communication with the firm’s revenue and billings department. Responsibilities will include holding WIP meetings with lawyers, scoping matters, constructing budgets, monitoring progress alongside budgets and communicating when costs escalate beyond set parameters. Excellent written and oral communication skills are required to deal with clients,  local counsel, partners and the firm’s Finance team. Candidates may come from a Paralegal background , preferably in Finance transactions and a strong understanding of the transaction life cycle. A strong understanding of the revenue, pricing and billing process as well as the legal transactional piece is essential.  This is a great opportunity for an ambitious professional currently in a similar legal support role of a Paralegal with big ticket deal exposure.
