LAW Absolute is recruiting on behalf of a Local Authority based in London, for a locum principal lawyer. You will manage a team within criminal litigation and regulation, advising on a wide range of criminal investigations and prosecutions.
To apply you will be:
- A qualified lawyer with prior UK local government experience Substantially experienced dealing with criminal litigation matters, and confident to run a team within the department Able to attend court in person when required, otherwise hybrid/home working is available
Essential experience:
- Experience handling a caseload of regulatory crime matters including fraud, health and safety, pollution, planning contraventions, food hygiene, trading standards and licensing. Experience managing a team and collaborating with other senior colleagues to ensure the smooth running of the department.
