Contracts and Procurement Lawyer Locum

LAW Absolute is recruiting on behalf of a Local Authority based in London, for a contracts and procurement lawyer locum. You will advise on all aspects of contract law including EU procurement, competition, tendering, contracts for good and services, contractual disputes and negotiations.

To apply you will be:

  • A qualified lawyer with prior UK local government experience Experienced handling a caseload of contract and procurement matters Able to attend the office on a hybrid basis

Essential experience:

  • Experience handling a caseload of contract and procurement matters including facilitating the delivery of corporate projects, advising on the formation of trading companies, partnerships and joint venture agreements, and shared services arrangements between public bodies. Experience advising on information law under the Data Protection Act and Freedom of Information Act would be desirable.

Please note you will be offered a 3-month contract initially, with potential to extend.
